We are a group of people committed to the cause of India Pakistan Friendship, an ever growing community of netizens, with real life extension and influence. It's been long since our immoral politicians, generals and religious bigots, have cheated us. Lets make a new beginning with new friends...let's get over our pre-conceived notions and convictions and write a new chapter in the history of Indo-Pak relations.

Why shouldn't we be friends? Lahore is nearer to Delhi than Washington or London. We look alike, we have similar cultures, and we speak the same language. We have been united in our struggle for freedom. But somewhere we got misguided misled and we became prey to the machinations of an outsider.

India and Pakistan are in this together. Their fights against extremism will founder if fought alone In the rush to blame Pakistan for the terrorist atrocity in Mumbai, a dangerous mistake is being made. The impulse to implicate Pakistan is of course understandable: the past is replete with examples of Pakistani and Indian intelligence agencies working to destabilise the historical enemy across the border.But it is too soon to know who is behind the current attacks. Some or all of the attackers may indeed come from or have supporters in Pakistan. Equally, some or all may be Indian. Pakistan could have told India the same thing at the meeting of the joint antiterror mechanism: recent bomb blasts at Malegaon and Modasa were not the doing of ‘Muslims from across the border’. Nor did the Pakistani delegation point out that India had its own Hindu terrorists, led by a woman and trained by some exarmy men belonging to an old Sainik school.
